One thing that Frank lets slip is that when he writes to his parents, his letters are in code, but Flavia can’t watch this interesting process because he’s under orders not to let anyone see the code book. A code book! It’s like being in a spy novel!

In Episode 10 of Silver Buckshot, Pistole Italiane, Flavia, still shaken from the attempt on her life, returns to her rooms in the company of a new set of guards, her boyfriend Frank, and Frank’s older sister Louisa, who thinks a mere princess isn’t good enough for her baby brother.
